1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in the ADB Business Opportunities on 20 April 2011.
此项目的招标邀请依据2011年4月20日亚行商务机会中出现的总采购通告。
2. The People's Republic of China has applied for a loan from the Asian Development Bank(ADB) toward the cost of Xinjiang Altay Urban Infrastructure and Environment Improvement Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract.

3. China International Tendering Company (the Procurement Agent)entrusted by the purchaser, invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers home and abroad for the supply of the following goods and/or service by way of International Competitive Bidding and traditional bidding.
