Purchase of river sand for MTENTU Bridge Project, South Africa

This is China Communication Construction Company (“CCCC”) and MECSA Construction (Pty) Ltd (“MECSA”) formed a joint-venture known as “CCCC MECSA Joint Venture”.

The JV has been awarded with the ‘Mtentu River Bridge and Associated Roads on the N2 Wild Coast Toll Road’ contract with reference: N.002-****-2023/1C’ tender (“Tender”) tendered by the South African National Roads Agency Soc Limited (“SANRAL”).

The Mtentu River Bridge and Associated Roads forms part of the N2 Wild Coast Road (N2 WCR) project, which is SANRAL's flagship project in the Eastern Cape, with a distance about 50 KM from Port Edward , 220km from Port Durban and 770 km from Johannesburg.

River sand suppliers must meet the access conditions of the supervisor and the owner. The river sand they supply must pass the test and inspection and meet the inspection standards.

The quotation must include all related costs such as materials, transportation, insurance, profit and after-sales service.
